I know Dr. Calvert is an expert in revision/corrective rhinoplasty, but I would like to speak to his talents providing simple, primary (first time) rhinoplasty!

I came to Dr. Calvert after being referred by a family member. I’m not a big fan of most fake looking rhinoplasty, so I was willing to go to great lengths to find the right doctor. It is obvious that his business relies heavily on referrals and his tremendous expertise in the field. I was highly impressed once I researched Dr. Calvert and discovered that he had several peer-reviewed publications and was an expert in the field of rhinoplasty (I don’t trust advertising or referrals, for me professional recognition from peers matters the most). I then met Dr. Calvert and he immediately understood my vision for my nose. I thought I would have to see more doctors, but the fact that he said he could do exactly what I wanted and immediately understood what I wanted made it seem unnecessary. In our first meeting, he informed me that he didn’t like to make false promises with digital imaging, and explained the recovery to me in detail. He also fully and honestly explained the potential risks associated with the procedure. Either the recovery or risks could have deterred me from retaining him as a surgeon, but he didn’t seem to mind at all.

I went with my hunch and trusted him, and my nose turned out EXACTLY how I wanted. It is so natural that most people do not believe me when I tell them I have had rhinoplasty. Just be specific about exactly what you want, and Dr. Calvert will be honest with you about exactly what he can do for you.

I met with Dr. Calvert after a vicious attack. Dr. Calvert and his staff could not have been more professional yet warm and caring. After the surgery, Dr. Calvert himself came to check on me early on New Years Eve!! We chatted about his growing family and mine. Before my surgery, I was frozen. From the day Dr. Calvert performed my surgery my life began again and I was able go forward with my happy life. In addition, Dr. Calvert is extremely well educated and it doesn’t hurt that he’s gorgeous as well. I will never, ever forget what Dr. Calvert has done for me. Thank you isn’t enough.

The entire staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. I have never felt that I was putting them out of their way and have been extremely attentive to my every need. Even at the surgery center the entire staff made me feel at ease. Get this, they use a numbing shot before inserting the IV. Basically painless. Wish more surgical centers cared for a patients comfort like they do. If you are looking for a down to earth staff that actually treats you like a person, you have come to the right place.

One of the recommendations was Dr. Jay Calvert in LA. 3 consultations with him convinced me that he will be my Revision Rhinoplasty surgeon.

I had my hump shaved down and my doctor used facsia to smooth out my bridge. My breathing was very bad so he he also fixed my turbulences. I can breathe very well now and finally my hump is gone.

Seriously one of the best experiences I’ve had. ROB was the best and I highly recommend him for any cosmetic needs.

I have terrible migraines and I explained to him where the pressure was occurring. He showed me a diagram of facial muscles and pressure points. Really made me feel like I was in good hands.
