Mia Khalifa Says Dr Jay Calvert ‘Saved My Life’ Following Surgery After Getting Hit by Puck in Boob

Dr. Jay Calvert is a board certified plastic surgeon in Beverly Hills, one of the best in his field, and also the host of the Dr. Hockey Podcast first reached out to me to be on his podcast and talk playoffs.

After hearing about my gruesome injury at the Capitals/Lightening playoff game where i got hit in the left breast with a hockey puck during the game, he knew he could help me.

I was reluctant to let a penguins fan operate on me at first, but in the end, I trusted him and his years of experience specializing in revision work, and thank god I did!!

To Dr Jay Calvert from @miakhalifa: “You can say anything you want about me and my decisions, but one thing that no one can argue is my transparency on social media.

I don’t hide behind filters or make things out to be better than they are.

Sometimes things are ugly, and bloody, and boring, and covered in hormonal breakouts, but that is life and I will always embrace it.

This was my decision behind sharing my surgery journey with @drjaycalvert, I could go on and on about what he did to fix my hockey puck breast injury, but i won’t because I could never be as eloquent as he is, just watch the video for yourself.

WARNING: Extremely graphic, and not for the faint of heart.

We shared as much of the actual surgery as YouTube terms and conditions would allow.

“I just want to say a quick thank you to Dr Jay Calvert and his team for making my recovery so easy, checking in with me every day, and welcoming me with smiles and laughs whenever I came in to the office.

You guys embody “team work,” thank you so much for everything you did for me.”

March 2019 NIP ‘N PUCK Former star legend Mia Khalifa says Dr Jay Calvert ‘saved my life’ following surgery after getting hit by puck in boob.

Sports presenter is recovering with her boyfriend Robert Sandberg in Los Angeles following four-hour ‘fat grafting’ surgery to fix damaged implant.

Beverly Hills-based Dr Jay Calvert, a plastic surgeon expert, performed the procedure, which involved transferring fat from one part of Mia’s body to her breast.

He explained the “deflated boob” was partly caused due to the position of her implant, which was about seven or eight years old.

Mia, 26, said: “Getting hit by the hockey puck damaged my breast but saved my life!”

When ruptured, saline and silicone from breast implants can leak into the body and cause serious infection.
